Description

With Daz Studio Advanced exciting new Shader Mixer feature I just had to test it out. I haven't had the free time to really sit down and learn all the bells and whistles but did manage to create a few shaders which might be fun. At first glance, these shaders appear pretty simple but through adjustments and user choices they provide infinite variations.

This zip file contains 3 base shaders for Daz|Studio 3 and a few simple texture masks.

Future updates and help using these shaders can be found at www.ageofarmour.com/3d/tutorials/daz-studio-shaders.html

Installation instructions
Extract the zip folder to a Daz Studio Mapped directory. By default on a PC this is:

C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio3

But you can manually move them anywhere in a Daz Studio content directory you prefer such as:

C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\Studio3\DAZ Built-in Content\Shaders

If you install to the default location a folder with images (used as masks) can be found under:
C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio3\content\Runtime\Textures\AgeOfArmour\Shaders
These can also be moved anywhere on your computer you like. Just put them someplace you will remember.

Legal
You are welcome to use these in any way you like. You can render them (private or commercial), edit them, share them, whatever makes you happy. No credit needed or expected unless you want to redistribute the shaders themselves in which case I would appreciate a link to my web site ( www.ageofarmour.com/3d ).

While I can't see how any of these files could possibly cause any damage to a computer we all know there is no way to predict every eventuality when dealing with software so I assume no responsibility for the use/misuse of these files. Oh, and as every other software disclaimer says... Don't use this software to run life support computers LOL!

Happy Rendering
