14g medieval sugarloaf helmet finished and added to the in stock items. Oops! I made a little mistake on this particular
helm so am selling it for quite a bit less than I expect to for helmets like this in the future. See the details on my
site for more information about this helmet.

Weapon Masters - Atlatl VS Breastplate

The good people at Half Yard Productions purchased a cuirass of mine to test against the Aztec atlatl for their
television show Weapon Masters. I personally haven't yet seen the episode and am anxious to see how the breastplate
stands up. From what I've read this test has stirred up a bit of controversy in the atlatl community. I will post more
in response on the Age of Armour news page and in the atlatl forums after the show airs. The episode airs tonight,
21 Sep 2008 at 9:00pm on The Military Channel.

Rebirth of the Ancient Superhero

My customer and friend mentioned he was considering selling his lovely 15th century Heroic harness.
I offered to list it on AgeOfArmour.com for Toby Capwell as I know many of you would be
interested in such a unique work of art and the very informative write-up about its design.
This is the only time I have ever featured an armour on this site which I had not personally made. The
armour was researched and designed by Dr. Capwell, Curator of Arms and Armour at the Wallace Collection in London,
and was by masterfully crafted by the talented armourers Chris Dobson and Will West.
Have a look at this beautiful Heroic armour.

Medium grade articulated Gorget now in stock.

One medium grade articulated gorget finished and added to the in stock items.
This is part of an armour that I was making for a customer. About half way through
the project I realized the gorget was going to be a bit too small. Now that I have
made a new gorget for the customer I decided to take a little time and finish this one up.
