Deviant art Interview

The lovely and talented Myana over at DeviantArt has been doing a fascinating series of artisan interviews.
I was so flattered to have been chosen as one of those interviewed.	The article covers a little about me personally
as well as a few small insights about making and photographing armour.

Sorry about the lack of regular updates. I have been working hard doing restoration work on an original suit of armour.
You can see a few images of this armour by following the link above. Soon I hope to write a few tutorials involving
 this German 16th century armour.

14g medieval sugarloaf helmet finished and added to the in stock items. Oops! I made a little mistake on this particular
helm so am selling it for quite a bit less than I expect to for helmets like this in the future. See the details on my
site for more information about this helmet.

Weapon Masters - Atlatl VS Breastplate

The good people at Half Yard Productions purchased a cuirass of mine to test against the Aztec atlatl for their
television show Weapon Masters. I personally haven't yet seen the episode and am anxious to see how the breastplate
stands up. From what I've read this test has stirred up a bit of controversy in the atlatl community. I will post more
in response on the Age of Armour news page and in the atlatl forums after the show airs. The episode airs tonight,
21 Sep 2008 at 9:00pm on The Military Channel.
